SACSS Homecoming 2013

(NOTE: TONS of photos & reminiscing in this post.)

YAY! Here's finally my post about being back at my alma mater.
Been waiting to post this. Hehehehe.

So basically you can see that SACSS went through MAJOR renovations.
(For those who are unaware, SACSS = St. Anthony's Canossian Secondary School.)
After 10 years being in this compound since SACPS, the school is sooooo much prettier now.
Kinda wish I was still studying here..

Our School Motto!
The Way, The Truth, The Life.

We attended the homecoming mass.
Sang along to the few hymns we used to sing.

SACSS' building used to be in a C shape but now because of the performing arts block, it's an E shape.
The loooonnggggg driveway that does around the school entrance to canteen is still there.
But the spooky area of the D&T block (yes, spooky) seems to be removed..

Image on left: Girl Guides preparing for camp I think.. Hahahahaha.
Camp.. I was a guide. And I hated camps back then..
Chao geng guide, as my dear girls call me. Wahahahah.
Image on right: The right side of the image is the upper sec block & science block.
The left side block with the red paint is the new block that covers up what
used to be the link & empty area with umbrellas.

Image on left: That's one of the idk how many batminton courts/multipurpose halls!

Image on left: The inside of Class 2.5.
Image on right: The view of the upper sec/science block from the block where the 'fishtank' was..
Well.. The fishtank is gone. That's not the only thing gone.

Image on right: The festival court now has a new floor. No more millipedes I guess?

Physics Lab 2.

Because the lab is a serious place.

Classroom 2.5!
A little history, the three of us first met in class 2.5.
That's where all these madness and love began.

They now have 2 super huge and nice dance studios. Fully mirrored.

Image on left: That's how far away I was seated from the girls in sec 4!
Why? Cause I talk too much lah. And cause I don't do my homework & I absolutely dislike listening in class.
Image on right: Our seating arrangement in Sec 3.9. That's when we all gathered as the Supers.
(Sheral & I were classmates waaaay before. In pri 3/4 & sec 1.)

PEEL.
Point, Evidence, Elaborate, Link.
(If my memory doesn't fail me...)

AND SUDDEN REALISATION: I think the handwriting belongs to Ms Eileen Tan........... Am I right?

Cher & Pearls were already classmates back in Sec 1!

The media resource library is pathetically small. Smaller than the 1st level of the old library.

Foolscap paper anyone remember?

And right before you scroll to the next image, this area used to be one of the most umm.. 'Heritage' place of SACPS & SACSS.
If you were once a Canossian, you'd probably know this area as the 'dry swimming pool' or the 'sunken foyer'.

AND IT IS GONE.
THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE REMOVED IT. IT WAS THE JOINING PART OF SACPS & SACPS.
THEY SHOULD NOT HAVE REMOVED IT.
Oh well..

They even have a meditation room now.

And the field! They have kept the slope though. And a section of the slope is now like a stand?

Mannn. I really do miss SAC a whole lot.
All the memories. They are all still fresh in my mind.
I even remember singing birthday songs to ALL the teachers who walked into class as a joke.
Yes, we even did it to the sternest teacher, Ms A. Lim.

So the homecoming was short but sweet.
Afterwards, we headed to 85 cause what's a visit to SAC without 85?!
