Lunar New Year's Eve was as usual, at my paternal uncle's house!
The gathering began late afternoon.
Final repairs and preparations before receiving the new year.
The annual affair of Blackjacks throughout the new year began a little early this year!
My grandma's signature dish, the Braised Vegetables and Mushrooms.
There's no better family I could ask for.
After the dinner and yu shang, we all headed back home for the evening!
Put up some final decors with mummy & also did express cleaning.
These branches of green are called 'sng'. It's a symbol for having a lot of money to be counted through the year because 'sng' also sounds like the dialect work for 'count'.
And that marks the end of the Lunar Year!
