Japan '14, Tokyo - Day 5, Tokyo Disneyland

Finally! I'm posting about the second last full day we spent in Tokyo!
DISNEYLAND.

From our hotel, Keio Plaza, we took a free shuttle to Disney Resort. I insisted we booked the first bus there and the last bus back.
Basically made us all SUPER tired and worn out but then it was all worth it.
(WARNING: POST CONTAINS A HUNDRED PHOTOS.)

We got our tickets even before Disneyland was open and then queues outside for the gates to open.
All the locals were very spontaneously dressed in Disney merchandise and a lot of the merchandise were from past seasons of Disneyland's stuff!
All so pretty but you could never buy them again.

Since we went in May, the decorations were still of the Easter season!
They only change it once every 3 months, I think.

The entire Disneyland had Easter eggs of all designs and sized scattered all over!

(Gotten off trusty Google, duh!)

So to simplify things, here's a mini overview map of Disneyland.
The entrance is at World Bazaar on the map!

The World Bazaar.

I love how Disneyland always has brightly coloured flowers all over and they really light the entire place up!

The first stop was Tomorrowland!

Our first ride was Space Mountain and I can only say, HK Disneyland is only a fraction of here.
Size wise and fun wise.
(That being said, I'll still go if I'm in HK.)

I was super fascinated by the ducks that were wandering around the park!
There're so many!

Easter Egg!

I'd have to say Toon Town probably has my favourite decorations!
So colourful and cartoon-like!

The queues to meet the characters were ridiculously long so we decided to go back a while later.

We headed into Minnie's House!

After Minnie's house, we went over to Mickey's!
They had a Micky meet & greet there but whilst queuing, we had to walk through his house!

Souvenir shopping!
Like how people always say, Disneyland is a trap made from humans by a mouse,
the shop is a trap. Not only for us but for the pockets.

ALL THE MERCHANDISE WERE SO CUTEEEEE. I WANTED 90% OF THEM.

And what's Disneyland without coin presses?

Even their vending machines at Fantasyland are so cute!

Chloe and I got our fastpasses before having our lunch!

At Critter Country!

After lunch, Chloe and I broke away from our parents to explore on our own!
We took a raft to Tom Sawyer's Island for an adventure before our ride!

SPLASH MOUNTAIN.

We both loved the ride so much!!!!

After our rides and exploration, we decided too go back to the World Bazaar for some pictures with the characters.
But.... THEY WERE ALREADY LEAVING.

They didn't allow any more photos cause all the characters were done for the day. BOOOO.

Fortunately for me, I had ONE and only ONE picture with this character!
I never knew her name but I thought she looked familiar.
So I Googled and found out that her name is Perla & she's from Cinderella!

This performer's super enthusiastic and he's really good too!

We had sort of an early dinner and some rest cause our legs were gone by then!

Disneyland really serves damn good food!

We got a staff walking past to help us take a photo.
I honestly wasn't expecting the guy to take such a perfect photo so I was VERY happy with it!

Okay I'll have to say, I think theme parks and tourist locations should ALWAYS have staff that can take a good picture and know how to operate a camera. It's so important, don't you think?

We went wandering and shopping while waiting for the evening fireworks and lights show!

The Easter Mickey & Minnie!
I kept looking at them the whole day I was there and I just gave up.
I bought them and brought them home!
They're sitting on my bed's headrest right now.

Apart from them, I got myself a Mickey head macaron pillow!
It's teal in colour and SUPER huggable.
They came in pink, yellow and teal. I really wanted all of them but because of the size, I could only bring one home. :(

The popcorn bucket that mummy bought after an entire day of contemplating!

Got myself a really good spot for the light show & the fireworks!

After the light show, I waited patiently for the fireworks to start but...
They announced bad weather which will affect the show so they cancelled the fireworks.

I was so disappointed though..

Must-have churros before we left!

I only saw these eggs while leaving Disneyland!
Guess I was too excited to dash in that I didn't see it!

Our long day ended but the next day at DisneySea awaited.
Couldn't wait to get back to the hotel to rest up for the next day!
