Beautiful Hokkaido had so much more for us to see!
Our day 9 was spent on road trips and traveling between 2 flower farms and snapping a ridiculous amount of photos!
The weather, however, was a tad gloomy and I shall admit that I probably overworked the saturation bar in my Adobe Lightroom for this particular day to get the colours as similar to the real thing as possible.
I can't remember the name of the park but this is a Pink Moss park!
They had some tulips too!
This is probably my favourite family photo till date!
I love all our family photos. Thank goodness for a super spontaneous family who's willing to comply to my huge liking of photo-taking.
Chocolate Millefeuilles from the airport!
Seafood set lunches!
Scallops with rice!
It's a little too milky for my liking but the scallops were very very fresh.
Location: Kamiyubetsu Tulip Park
This tulip park is veryyyyy beautiful.
But it takes angles to take a picture where the field looks very full and crowded with tulips!
In actual fact, they are spaced out and not very close together! Still beautiful, nonetheless.
And how can you say no to countless photos in a field of flowers?
Location: Hotel Abashirikoso
Here in the hotel, we had an early night's rest and there was a really nice view of the lake... Except it was foggy.
What's a stay in the traditional hotel without wearing their traditional clothing right?
This bear's super cute and I couldn't decide if I should get the smaller one..
Ended up buying some Hello-Kitty-dressed-in-animal-costumes mirrors for the girls instead!
Also, Abashirikoso had onsen but my whole family was too shy to try it out despite recommendations and encouragements. It felt way too weird being in a huge 'tub' with strangers...
Well, that marks the end of day 9. I've gotten day 10 & 11's pictures ready for uploads.
But I didn't want them to be posted all at once cause of several reasons:
1. I'm too lazy to upload a thousand photos for the whole trip at once
2. I don't have that many pictures to keep this space regularly updated
3. Posting the pictures slowly allows me to live in the Japan daze for as long as possible.
