Tokyo DisneySea!
Started and lasted the day in drizzles and rain even before we arrived at the Disney Resort!
And cause of that, we couldn't take any pictures of the gate or a DisneySea signboard. Boo.
But when we arrived, we got ourselves Disney ponchos and started our adventure!
First stop, character meet & greet!
There were many characters all over the foyer area outside the shops and we managed to take pictures with some!
Pluto's one of my favourite Disney characters cause it's damn cute!
But unfortunately cause of its long nose, that's the only thing in focus. HAHAHA!
The damp weather was rather mood dampening but we tried our best to make the best of it!
Many of the outdoor rides were closed due to safety precautions and it's disappointing lah.
Chloe's vintage Mickey & Minnie from Disneyland... & mummy's ring.
The theme for the period of our visit was Spring Voyage!
The flowers were brightly coloured and there were displays of the characters' luggages, as if they were going on a holiday!
We split from our parents and started exploring on our own!
Flower Duffy!
Area: Mediterranean Habour
Our first ride was the 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea!
Simple but yet rather cool ride! It's almost like we were underwater.
We got our fastpasses to the ride but then the ride was closed during that period of time cause of maintenance issues! Hurhurhur.
Refusing to skip the ride, we went back there after awhile and IT WAS OPEN. They let us in after we showed our fastpass! Hehehe. One of the best rides.
Some of the other rides we took includes the Indiana Jones one which was cool also!
Headed to American Waterfront for lunch after to meet our folks!
This burger.. is.. not to my liking... Why? Cause it's mayo-ful. But apparently it's supposed to be good.
After some shopping, we headed to Port Discovery to the Daffy meet & greet!
Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Shellie May though..
It's soooo cuddly! I'm pretty sure I have a thing for bears.
Cape Cod! Duffy & Shellie May's hometown.
We spent the day walking and walking so much I can barely remember the routes we took!
But after the Duffy photo session, Chloe & I went back to the Lost River Delta area from Port Discovery to meet Minnie and take the Indiana Jones ride!
Met Minnie and the skies cleared!!!!!
You've nooooo idea how happy we were when we saw that the skies were clearing up and we could lose the ponchos!
Even fallen leaves are in the shape of hearts.
Snack time at Cape Cod!
Mickey nuggets!
Oh, you know how everyone loves their Duffy bears, there were Duffy photo points where you can put your Duffy to take pictures!
The best part is, even though it rained, the staff cleaned it right up when the drizzle stops so you can put your Duffy without worrying it'll get wet.
There're so many photo points all around!
Sunset American Waterfront!
Tower of Terror!
Chloe and I got our fastpasses so we could explore while waiting.
Lucky shot.
I remember when I saw this 'Tower of Terror' light come on I was like 'OMGOMGOMG FASTER TAKE PICTURE' cause despite walking along the outside of this building like 10x, it's the only time I saw it come on! Otherwise it just states 'Hotel Hightower'. So cool!
Felt somewhat like in a horror movie where the people enter the building and then the camera shows the words appearing to the audience after they've entered.
Toyville Trolley Park.
Tiny Toy Story themed area.
But still sad that there was no Lotso stuff anywhere, except ONE collar pin.
The most thrilling ride in the entire DisneySea cause of the free fall.
Best part? When they opened the doors on the top for us to look at the view, THERE WERE FIREWORKS!
Dashed across the American Waterfront to see the light show and fireworks!
THE COLOURS.
More shopping while waiting for our bus' arrival time!
Whatever you're not buying but you're loving, take a picture.
Bad quality but.. globe.
Chipped in to buy Chloe a Slinky hat cause it's too cute to resist. Hahahaha!
I've been eyeing it all day but didn't buy cause I was rationing my money.
It's sooooo cute! Now we both have character hats we can wear to Disneyland next time.
(I've my Lotso one form HK!)
DisneySea was our last full day in Tokyo!
Spent the next day travelling and settling down in Hokkaido and so the following posts after these will be of Hokkaido & the super cool tour that we took with Prime Travel & Tour's affiliate, Follow Me Japan!
